TecnoParque – Office building lobby 

TecnoParque is one of the first and more relevant corporate “campus” in Mexico City. Designed according to efficiency and low maintenance criteria, it is located in an old industrial area recovered and transformed into parks and green areas with spaces for rest and recreation. Taking the natural environment as reference and with the intention of creating a spatial continuity between the interior and exterior, we developed inside the reception area a module that covers the walls of the space, created from the repetition of a wooden skin with a vertical pattern.

This ground floor entrance leads to a landscaped courtyard that illuminates and provides views to the corporate buildings. The courtyard’s design is based on a organic composition of local species that forms a dense and wild-looking vegetation mass. In contrast, a rational water feature in the shape of a rectangle reflects the sky and the courtyard’s natural light to the elevator hub.
