June / Vancouver, Canadá

On Cambie Street in Vancouver, June presents a contemporary reinterpretation of the subtlety of Art Deco, integrating original elements of the building, such as oculi and curved forms, into a design that blends warmth and sophistication.

The interior evokes an intimate and vibrant atmosphere, where carefully selected materials balance the classic with the contemporary. The wooden ceiling, which wraps around the walls at mid-height, creates an enveloping structure that embraces the space, adding warmth. Copper adds depth and character, while a topography of green ceramic tiles runs throughout the restaurant, articulating the seating areas and providing freshness and dynamism.

The bar, the focal point of the space, reflects the identity of the venue, known for its curated selection of spirits. The open kitchen integrates the diner into the experience, while the DJ booth brings versatility, allowing the restaurant to transform its atmosphere from day to night. On one of the walls, a luminous copper piece interacts with the curvature of the bar, establishing a harmonious contrast between the warmth of the reds and the vitality of the greens in the palette.
